Responsibilities
What You'll Do
V2X is seeking a Competitive Intelligence Analyst to gather, analyze, and interpret market and competitor data to drive strategic decision-making across our global operations. This role will be responsible for monitoring industry trends, assessing competitive landscapes, and delivering actionable insights that inform business development, product strategy, and market positioning. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, the analyst will synthesize complex data into clear, compelling reports and presentations that support leadership in making informed, data-driven decisions.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in competitive intelligence, market research, and data analysis, with expertise in intelligence-gathering tools and methodologies. They will develop frameworks for monitoring competitor activities, assess emerging industry shifts, and provide strategic recommendations to key stakeholders. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented, analytical professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about using intelligence to drive business growth and competitive advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop competitive intelligence analysis and provide competitive intelligence support as directed and assigned by the Vice President of Competitive Intelligence
Employ and utilize ethical competitive intelligence sources and methods
Develop and deliver timely analysis to supported internal competitive intelligence team members and internal competitive intelligence customers
Develop and deliver defensible competitive intelligence estimates
Develop and deliver competitive intelligence analysis
Develop and deliver competitor intelligence analysis
Develop and delivery competitive pricing analysis
Conduct directed research and analysis
Effectively utilize research and analysis tools and resources
Support the effective integration of competitive intelligence into V2X
Support the training, development, and mentorship of competitive intelligence assets
Meet or exceed individual performance targets and goals
Support the achievement of competitive intelligence team service level and performance targets
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Education: One-year related experience may be substituted for each year of education, if degree is required.
Bachelor's degree in business, science, engineering, or related field with 6+ years of experience in competitive intelligence leadership, management, methods, and delivery
Master's degree in science, engineering, or related field experience in competitive intelligence leadership, management, methods, and delivery preferred
Experience:
Experience researching and analyzing customer requirements
Experience researching, identifying and analyzing gaps, risk and opportunity in customer requirements
Experience in researching and assessing customer solicitation requirements for inclusion in competitive assessments
Experience in researching and analyzing competitor likely responses to customer requirements
Experience in researching and analyzing customer acceptable competitor bid approaches
Experience in supporting the development of labor or material basis of estimates
Experience supporting the development and delivery of Competitive Assessment
Experience delivering accurate competitive analysis
Experience in supporting ad hoc or real-time competitive analysis
Experience in US Federal market competitive assessment development
Experience with competitive assessment analysis, methods and tools
Preferred Qualifications
Understanding of the competitive pricing estimate development process
Experience supporting the development of Top-Down or Bottom-Up Price to Win
Experience in US Defense competitive assessment development
Experience with US Federal or SLED market solicitation response, proposal development, estimating, pricing, business development, capture, sales or marketing
Experience with market intelligence.
Experience developing market intelligence or strategic intelligence
Experience with Black Hat development, facilitation and execution
Experience in Foreign defense and aerospace competitive solution architecture development
Experience with Foreign Military Sales
Experience with classified competitive intelligence solution architecture development
Experience training competitive intelligence analyst
Experience developing training for competitive intelligence analyst
Competitive Intelligence Certification through Graduate Certificate or Certified Coursework
Other Requirements:
United States Citizenship required
Ability to obtain a US DOD security clearance
Ability to travel - 5%

The successful candidate's starting pay will be based on, but not limited to, their job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.
The following salary range is intended to display the value of the company's base pay compensation and may be modified at the discretion of the company.
USD $85,000-$135,000
Provided salary range minimum and maximum values correspond to variances between regional/geographic locations across the United States.
