Job Description
A customer of Insight Global is looking at add 3 Geospatial Data Scientists to their team to help support cleared customer sites (Springfield VA, Dulles VA, and/or St. Louis). This person will help analyze large geospatial, imagery, and sensor datasets to deliver actionable insights. They will help develop and deploy statistical and machine learning models for spatial problems, integrate analytics into operational workflows, and produce clear visualizations and dashboards. This person will also be collaborating closely with analysts and engineers while supporting prototypes, automation, and reproducible analytic solutions with direct mission impact. They will need to go onsite 75% of the time.
Compensation:
$230k to $250k per year annual salary.

Skills and Requirements
5+ years of professional experience applying data science or machine learning
Active TS/SCI clearance
Strong proficiency in Python, R, and SQL
Hands-on experience with geospatial data (GIS, imagery, remote sensing)
Experience using spatial libraries (e.g., GDAL, GeoPandas, ArcPy)
Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, GIS, Applied Math, Statistics, or related field TensorFlow, PyTorch
Cloud-native or containerized analytics experience
NGA or intelligence community experience
Prior defense or national security analytics background
Advanced degree
