Production Coordinator

Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent and 4 or more years of related work experience, Associate degree preferred
Pre-employment background check and drug screening, which will include but is not limited to testing for marijuana use.
Valid driver's license or state-issued identification card
DOT random drug and alcohol testing.
Frequently lift, push, and pull up to 35 pounds during an 8-hour shift.
Regularly walk, stand, climb stairs, bend, lift items, and handle packaging and unloading of materials throughout the shift.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Available to work the second shift, weekends, and overtime as required.
Desired Skills, Experience, and Education:
Experience working in a computer-based inventory management system or warehouse management system.
Experience working on NASA programs.
Experience in material management concepts and best practices
Duties:
Process and move production and other materials into and out of storage, production areas, and other locations to support complex production, product support activities, and flight test operations.
Monitor and analyze work in process to ensure timely flow and accuracy.
Update the status of parts and materials using automated systems.
Identify and report problems and make recommendations to ensure parts availability.
Analyze and resolve discrepancies with parts and materials to maintain inventory and system accuracy.
Coordinate with various teams to set priorities, expedite, and complete production activities to avoid schedule delays.
Expedite material to the production floor as needed.
Work under limited supervision to support production schedules and objectives.
