Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions. The Business Systems Analyst will work closely with business stakeholders, product teams, and IT departments to analyze requirements, improve processes, and support the implementation and optimization of enterprise systems. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of business processes and system capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements from stakeholders.
Translate business needs into functional specifications and system requirements.
Evaluate existing systems and processes to identify improvement opportunities and efficiencies.
Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and product owners to ensure requirements are properly implemented.
Support system implementation, upgrades, and integrations.
Create process flows, use cases, and documentation to support system functionality and user training.
Participate in testing activities, including system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Troubleshoot system issues and work with technical teams to resolve them.
Assist with data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence initiatives.
Maintain documentation for system configurations, workflows, and business processes.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or similar role.
Experience gathering and documenting functional and technical requirements.
Strong knowledge of business process analysis and workflow documentation.
Proficiency in SQL, data analysis, and reporting tools.
Experience with enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, or financial systems.
Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Agile or Scrum development methodologies.
Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio, or Lucidchart.
Experience with API integrations or data integrations between systems.
Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
Industry experience in finance, healthcare, manufacturing, or technology.
