Job Description
The Commercial Analytics Manager serves as a strategic partner to the Vice President of FP&A and senior leadership (sales, marketing, commercial teams), leading the company's financial planning, performance analytics, and decision support functions. This role owns the RFP pricing analytics, quarterly forecast, annual budget, long-range plan, and executive reporting processes, while driving actionable insights that improve profitability, cash flow, and return on invested capital.
Acting as the analytical engine of the organization, this position translates complex financial and operational data into clear business intelligence to support executive, Board of Directors, and Private Equity stakeholders. The role combines financial leadership, advanced analytics, business intelligence, and cross-functional collaboration to enable data-driven decision making and scalable growth.
This role will be responsible for leading a team of 2 rebate analysts.
Performance Analytics & Business Insight (50% of workload)
RFP support/new deal analytics - role serves as main point of contact for commercial teams for analytics
o Deliver pricing, margin analytics, customer profitability, and ROI analysis
o Perform industry benchmarking and peer group comparisons
Analyze trends across revenue, gross margin, operating expenses, and capital expenditures
o Responsible for managing rebates and contract renewal pricing analytics
Identify performance drivers and proactively highlight risks and opportunities
Conduct variance analysis and provide clear executive-level narratives
Financial Planning & Forecasting for entire company (50% of workload)
Lead the quarterly forecasting process (P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow)
o Gross revenue
o Net revenue
Own the annual budgeting process and long-range operating plan
Develop rolling forecasts and scenario modeling to support strategic planning
Ensure adherence to planning timelines and deliverables across departments
Cross-Functional Leadership
Act as finance partner to department heads, providing insight and accountability
Improve business processes to drive efficiency and measurable ROI
Mentor and develop analysts
Operate as both a strategic leader and hands-on contributor
$125,000 to $135,000 - Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Skills and Requirements
5-8+ years progressive experience in commercial analytics
o Previous experience working with (marketing/commercial teams to drive revenue generating decisions
Previous experience working at a healthcare products based organization (sourced products preferred but willing to take someone from a manufactured products background as well)
Experience in FP&A or Corporate Finance:
o Strong understanding of P&L
Experience providing analytics to support customer RFPs specifically around pricing
2 years of experience leading a team of analysts
