Description We are looking for a driven Financial Analyst to join our team in Long Beach, California. This Contract to permanent position offers the opportunity to contribute to our organization's financial success by analyzing data, creating models, and providing actionable insights. As part of the hospitality industry, you will play a key role in driving financial strategies and supporting business development efforts.
Responsibilities:
Conduct financial forecasting, reporting, and track operational metrics to ensure accurate performance analysis.
Develop financial models and analyze data to support strategic decision-making processes.
Prepare and present reports on financial performance to senior leadership on a regular basis.
Perform variance analysis, identify trends, and recommend improvements to optimize financial outcomes.
Collaborate with accounting teams to ensure precision in financial reporting and compliance.
Assist in capital budgeting and expenditure planning to support organizational growth.
Design and implement process improvements, including the creation of automated tools, dashboards, and reports.
Conduct market research and data mining to deliver valuable business intelligence and comparative valuations.
Partner with the Business Development team to create compelling proposals and respond to bid opportunities.
Maintain trackers, dashboards, and reports for business development activities, ensuring tasks are completed on time. Requirements - Proven experience in financial analysis, including forecasting, modeling, and variance analysis.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with data management tools such as Power BI or Business Objects.
Ability to gather, interpret, and present financial data effectively to support decision-making.
Experience in developing automated reporting and forecasting tools to enhance productivity.
Solid knowledge of capital budgeting processes and expenditure planning.
Background in market research and data mining techniques for business intelligence.
Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and presenting insights to leadership.
