Job Summary and Responsibilities
As a Cardiac Rehab RN, you will be a pivotal caregiver, guiding patients through critical cardiac recovery and empowering them and their families with life-changing support and education.
Every day, you will expertly assess complex cardiac conditions, meticulously monitor patient progress, and collaborate seamlessly with our multidisciplinary team to optimize healing and long-term wellness plans, ensuring no two days are alike.
To be successful in this role, you will combine acute assessment skills and an adaptable, detail-oriented approach with a compassionate drive to go the extra mile, shaping enduring positive health outcomes for every patient.
Supervises the staff and department under the direction of the CNO.
Provides direct nursing services to cardiac/pulmonary rehab patients, adapted to the patients' age and needs: Initiates and revises the plan of care, assists in discharge planning, assess patients, provides education, and accurately documents each encounter.
Demonstrates accountability for and contribution to program development, quality improvement, problem solving, and productivity enhancement in a flexible team fashion.
Revises and initiates new policies according to AACVPR and facility guidelines.
Takes immediate action in unsafe situations (example: proper tagging and reporting of equipment malfunction or wiping up water/urine spills). IRIS reporting.
Shares expertise by mentoring, precepting, or teaching an in-service or class.

Job Requirements
Required
Associate Of Nursing Sys/Div/Mkt/Local Supervisor - Bachelor's Degree and minimum of 1 year experience in the discipline or
3 years' experience in the discipline or
Master's Degree
Registered Nurse: ND, upon hire and
Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire and
Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 90 Days
Preferred
One-year ICU/Medical/Surgical experience

Pay Range
$26.82 - $39.90 /hour
