The Brand Protection Coordinator will provide comprehensive support to the Global Brand Protection team by managing a range of essential administrative and operational tasks. Responsibilities include executing Power of Attorney (POA) documents, facilitating the onboarding process for new vendors, overseeing invoice tracking and payment coordination, and ensuring the accurate and timely shipment of training materials to partners across global markets. In addition to administrative duties, this role plays an active part in the execution and strategic coordination of New Era's global Brand Protection program. This includes assisting with the implementation of enforcement strategies, monitoring global markets for intellectual property violations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to uphold and strengthen the integrity of the New Era brand worldwide.
Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day administrative tasks for the Global Brand Protection team
Partner with the Legal Operations Manager to execute Power of Attorney (POA) documents
Support the onboarding process for new vendors on a global scale
Coordinate the shipment of training materials to global partners and ensure materials arrive on time and in good condition
Support efforts to protect the New Era brand, partners, and intellectual property
Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to support global brand protection initiatives
Process and manage vendor invoices in a timely and accurate manner
Work closely with New Era's online Brand Protection Partners to protect New Era's Intellectual Property through the identification and removal of counterfeit and infringing products online
Support law enforcement authorities globally in the identification of counterfeit products during investigations, removals, seizures, and raid actions
Build strong relationships with other Rights Owner representatives and work together to share resources and identify problem areas
Manage and maintain internal case management system
Conduct online takedowns of infringing listings, posts, accounts, and websites globally
Produce periodic reports detailing enforcement data for internal and external stakeholders
Act as the point of contact for New Era employees globally to assist with online enforcement requests and ad-hoc projects
Conduct basic OSINT and desktop investigations
Establish & maintain database by country of all contacts including accounts, distributors, vendors, and law enforcement
Identify new trends and areas online which New Era may be open to infringement
Update brand protection guide and all other relevant training material
Monitor and manage brand protection enquiries inbox
Calendar management and co-ordination of travel/meetings
Keep all sensitive matters confidential
Other duties as assigned
Skills and Abilities
Solid basic understanding of criminal and civil law relating to intellectual property matters
Ability to perform online investigative work, analyse information and acting accordingly
Outstanding interpersonal communication skills
Excellent time management skills
Must be highly organized and detail oriented
Ability to work well with Law Enforcement Agencies
Experienced in Microsoft Office
Advanced abilities in Microsoft Excel Skills
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in information technology, law, or a related field preferred; additional experience in lieu of degree considered
One (1) to three (3) years of experience in brand protection, legal compliance or comparable experience is highly valued
Understanding of Intellectual Property Rights and Enforcement
Knowledge of internet and online technology, systems, and software

The salary range for this posted position is $50,500 - $56,500 (plus bonus & benefits) and pertains to candidates located in Western New York. Actual compensation will fall within this range and is determined by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, education, essential job duties and requirements, and necessary experience.
