Overview:
The Senior FP& A Analyst specializing in automation and AI plays a vital role in elevating financial strategy and operations by leveraging advanced analytics, automation tools, and artificial intelligence. This position is responsible for enhancing forecasting accuracy, streamlining reporting processes, and delivering actionable business insights. The Senior FP& A Analyst partners with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for automation, optimize financial workflows, and support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the integration and utilization of automation and AI tools within the FP& A function to improve efficiency and data accuracy.
Build and maintain advanced financial models, leveraging AI-powered analytics and automation for scenario analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.
Produce and automate monthly, quarterly, and annual management reporting packages for leadership.
Analyze financial and operational results, using AI tools to uncover trends, variances, and risks.
Collaborate with IT and business units to implement automated solutions and enhance financial data pipelines.
Identify and recommend process improvements, focusing on technology-driven solutions to reduce manual work and mitigate error.
Drive adoption of new digital tools and train finance team members on automation and AI best practices.
Support board presentations, strategic projects, and ad hoc analysis with AI-enabled insights.
Requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, or a related field; advanced degree or certification (e.g., MBA, CFA) is a plus.
4+ years of relevant FP& A experience, with demonstrated expertise in automation platforms (e.g., Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau, UiPath) and AI-enhanced analytics tools.
Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and data visualization.
Familiarity with ERP and integrated financial systems (such as Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, Workday) and their AI features.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Experience delivering process improvements and training in a digital-first environment.
