The Opportunity with McKinstry
We are adding a Senior Financial Analyst to our growing Offsite Manufacturing Platform division in Seattle, WA. You will be responsible for the preparation of corporate annual budgeting, multi-department budgeting and the business plan process. Additional responsibilities include:
Financial Planning
Responsible for the development of the organization's finance policies.
Prepares the design and development of enterprise wide technology enabled business intelligence capabilities.
Conducts special studies and prepares the statistical studies.
Solves problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires the evaluation of complex factors.
Builds complex financial models, drafts comprehensive budgets, and assists in financial deal analysis and negotiations.
Develops and generates clear and concise reports utilizing Business Objects.
Participates in the development and implementation of new reporting tools and administers those tools going forward.
Responsible for monthly variance and outlook analysis.
Model possible financial outcomes and optimize their solutions.
Financial Development and Support
Responsible for monthly and quarterly department financial data analysis, business plans and financial reporting.
Interface with departments, senior management, and business users to map out and document business reporting requirements.
Supports the department's management with financial and other reporting needs.
Other duties as assigned.
What You Need to Succeed at McKinstry
Must have demonstrated proficiency for all the responsibilities of a Financial Analyst.
Bachelor's degree in business, accounting or related field or equivalent work experience required.
Five (5) years of experience in financial analysis required.
Five (5) years of experience in data mining, data analysis and data modeling techniques required.
Prior Business Intelligence development and design is preferred.
Experience with SQL databases, IBM AS400 systems and a DB2 database is preferred.
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Visio required; working knowledge of SharePoint preferred.
Knowledge of both quantitative and qualitative data collection, metrics & analysis preferred.
Knowledge in developing reports from scratch using Business Objects or Crystal Reports preferred.
