This role is part of the Lunar Permanence business unit, which develops Blue Origin's Blue Moon landers and related products. To further Blue Origin's mission of millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth, we are building sustainable infrastructure for our transport of crew and cargo from Earth to the lunar surface.
As a Lunar Business Intelligence Analyst, you are responsible for building data models, crafting intuitive visuals, and providing analysis that helps Blue Origin build a road to the Moon. Within the Lunar business operations organization, we build relationships with budget owners to technical design teams that cover the design, build, and operate lifecycle. Our team accelerates program operations and strengthens the value of analytics in modern aerospace.

Key Responsibilities:
Designs and builds data models supporting Lunar program planning, tracking configuration, schedule, and technical performance across Lunar Permanence programs
Creates dashboards and key metrics used by program leadership for decision-making and business reviews
Develops automated data pipelines using Python and SQL to enable teams across engineering, supply chain, configuration management, production, and operations
Partners with budget owners and technical teams to identify analytics needs and deliver self-service reporting solutions
Leads technical data modeling efforts for cross-functional analyses spanning multiple Lunar programs
Establishes data quality standards and documentation practices that enable team scalability
Minimum Qualifications:

4+ years SQL experience with either Python, and/or Spark as a plus
Experience with professional visualization tools (e.g. Tableau / PowerBI / etc.)
Experience working with customers to gather requirements and present data solutions
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years building models and reports with Databricks (preferably has Certified Data Analyst Associate)
Experience building automated data pipelines using Python, DBSQL, and/or Spark
High capability with Tableau, PowerBI, and/or Databricks Dashboards
Experience with automating data tools like Airtable, Smartsheet, and/or Baserow
Experience with hierarchical data structures, especially with hardware bill of materials and production plans
Domain knowledge in engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, and/or aerospace
Compensation Range for:
WA applicants is $121,023.00 - $169,432.20
