About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Analystto be the fifth member of the firm's U.S. value add funds team. Based in Los Angeles, the Senior Analyst will assist PortfolioManagers and executive leadership in driving the performance and profitabilityof the firm's flagship U.S. enhanced return fund series.
What You Will Do
Contributeto investment strategy and execution: acquisitions, dispositions, financings, businessplan development, strategic leasing and capital investment decisions,Investment Committee recommendations and more
Leadand manage key, recurring portfolio management processes, including:
Quarterly: valuations (appraisals) andportfolio reporting to internal and external clients/constituents; performanceforecasting
Semi-annual: internal forecasting(underwriting) and portfolio reporting to a subset of the Americas InvestmentCommittee
Annual: budgets and business plans
As part of the above: digest/summarize andmake recommendations to the Portfolio Managers
Responsibilityfor all aspects of portfolio modeling, for existing and future funds
Collaboratewith a wide range of teams including:
Acquisitions
Asset Management
Debt Capital Markets
Financial Operations and Investment Accounting & Reporting
Client Care and Client Solutions
Performance Analytics
Insights & Intelligence (Research)
Sustainability
Respondto client inquiries and assist in capital raising, as needed
Train and mentor interns
What You Will Need
Bachelor's degree withreal estate, business, finance preferred
Minimumof two years of real estate investment experience, preferably working ondiversified U.S. funds
ExceptionalExcel and Argus modeling skills, including building models and knowledge ofPython and SQL
In-depth knowledge of other MicrosoftOffice products. Examples include Powerpoint and Word
Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills. Able to presentideas/conclusions/recommendations persuasively and defend in a clear, concise,and compelling manner
Excellentproject management/process leadership skills
Mustbe highly organized with meticulous attention to detail, and able to prioritizemultiple concurrent projects with an ability to independently identify andtackle key issues
Efficient,collaborative, adaptable working style - a self-starter
Desireand ability to train and help grow interns and first-year analysts

CBRE Investment Management carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for this position is $90,000 annually and the maximum salary for the position is $125,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE IM's applicable benefit program.
