Summary You will serve as a GG-0132-13 Intelligence Specialist at Camp HM Smith, HI, for the Joint Interagency Task Force West (JIATF West). As a counter-narcotics intelligence analyst, you will be responsible for complex, all-source, predictive analysis, production, and dissemination of counter-drug, narco-terrorism, and transnational criminal organization intelligence within the U.S. Pacific Command area of responsibility. Responsibilities You will be responsible for all-source, predictive analysis, production, and dissemination of counter-drug, narco-terrorism, and transnational criminal organization intelligence within the U.S. Pacific Command area of responsibility. You will conduct illicit chemicals, narcotics, and related commodities-focused intelligence analysis, to include programming, planning, execution, and assessment in support of Joint Interagency Task Force West (JIATF West). You will provide analysis of current, operational, and strategic intelligence to contribute to the understanding of transnational criminal organizations. You will analyze all-source intelligence analysis and communicate findings in both written and verbal forms as required. You will routinely develop and brief JIATF West intelligence products to senior members of the Department of Defense, U.S. and partner nation law enforcement agencies, and other intelligence agencies. You will conduct analytic coordination with other intelligence analysts both within JIATF West and across the Intelligence Community. You will represent JIATF West at local, national, and international intelligence community meetings and conferences. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level (GG/GS-12) or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector, such as: 1. Produce periodic evaluations, briefs, and other intelligence assessments on counterdrug-related topics. 2. Provide advice, recommendations, analysis, and guidance on the production of all-source intelligence. 3. Provide highly complex analysis, production, and dissemination of current, operational, and strategic intelligence.
