Responsibilities You will be responsible for managing process and training consistency across the afloat installation workforce. You will be evaluating and tracking maturity and platform integration to ensure alignments with Naval Modernization polices. You will advise the advance panning IPT (AP IPT) on fielding plans based on product maturity and integration evaluations. You will compare acquisition milestones to NMP milestones and review requirements for product maturity and provide earliest possible fielding date based on the Deep Dive assessment. You will facilitate NMP training schedule to program managers on naval Modernization policies, milestones, maturity requirements and authorization process timeline to ensure efficient fielding schedules and integration testing completion. You will lead installation risk mitigation actives and advise the installation planning manager when installation risk requires higher level integration. You will lead change through continuous process improvements including implementation of lean six SIGMA (LSS) projects within the installation and design arena. This position is in the Personnel Demonstration Project under authority of Title VII of the Civil Service Reform Act of 1978. The pay schedule and pay band for all Demonstration Project Professional Positions will be DP-1/2/3/4. The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the pay band, including higher responsibility positions.
