Job Description:
The Opportunity:
Work to support CACIs mission critical task in determining the clearest and most logical way to present information in FOIA releases. This position will also support current operations tasks for Editing and Foreign Disclosure.
Responsibilities
Preparing FOIA releases in accordance with laws, regulations, and policy's.
Perform duties as a FOIA Case Creator and Case Processor.
Meeting with subject matter experts in order to ensure that specialized topics are appropriately addressed and discussed.
Managing updates and revisions to technical documents.
Managing client delivery expectations and provide status, feedback, and project updates to both the customer and the project teams.
Gathering information and conducting other research in order to convey technical material in a concise and effective manner.
Complying with all applicable specifications, standards, and other project constraints to include the DIA style guide and DIA product line specifications.
Preparing reports, responses, and briefings targeted to a wide range of audiences.
Qualifications:
Required:
Must be a U.S. Citizen, with an active TS/SCI clearance and ability to obtain a Poly
Five (5) years’ experience as an Editor, FOIA Specialist, or Foreign Disclosure Representative (FDR).
BA/BS degree from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional Technical Editor, FOIA, or FDR experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
Ability to interact comfortably with Senior Government Leadership and Team members on a day-to-day basis.
Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage multiple independent threads of work and interaction simultaneously.
Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to consistently meet deadlines and work under pressure.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently on a complex task with little direction, supervision, and management oversight.
Desired:
Master’s degree in English, Journalism, or Technical Writing.
Expert understanding of MS Word, Excel, and Power Point, Teams, and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
6+ years of experience writing/editing intelligence documents, summaries, briefings, etc.
Relevant exposure to US foreign policy, national CWMD objectives, and the interagency coordination process.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$78,700 - $165,200
