Responsibilities This position is located in our Financial Crimes Enforcement Network/ Global Investigative Division.. As a Supervisory Investigative Analyst (Global), you will: Direct the proposing, planning, development, writing, and issuance of BSA regulations and regulatory guidance to assist in the protection of the U.S. financial system from abuse by criminals and terrorists through consistent administration of BSA regulations. Supervise staff involved in strategic investigative and tactical actions against foreign jurisdictions, foreign financial institutions, classes of transactions, and types of accounts, to deter and disrupt illicit finance threats. Collaborates with other FinCEN divisions on GID targets, investigations, and associated regulations to seek a FinCEN and Treasury-wide approach that ensures maximum impact against threats to the U.S. financial system. Develop and evaluate performance, provide training opportunities, promote team building, settle disputes and initiate disciplinary action, if required. Proposes alternative methods of financing unfunded requirements. Recommends budget and financial plan adoption to the AD and DAD for GID. Participate in management conferences and meetings to present proposals and discuss options concerning impact of program activities on other programs in FinCEN or the multiple organizations involved in the protection of the U.S. financial system from illicit and national security threats. Requirements Conditions of Employment Security Clearance: This position has been designated National Security Level IV, Special Sensitive and requires the incumbent to obtain and maintain eligibility for a Top Secret(TS) clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information(SCI) access. Applicant must meet and continue to adhere to the requirements of a Tier 5 level background investigation. Failure to successfully meet these requirements will be grounds for termination. Continued employment with FinCEN is contingent upon satisfactory completion of the Tier 5 level background investigation, the results of which fully meet the FinCEN's special employment criteria.
