Summary You will serve as a IT SPECIALIST (SYSADMIN) in the KNOWLEDGE AND PROCESS CODE 84300 of NAVWARSYSCEN PACIFIC SAN DIEGO CA. Responsibilities You will serve as the Microsoft Power Platform and JIRA developer. You will maintain system and application configuration, user access, and issue level security to protect privacy and data integrity You will be for translating customer requirements into business automation workflows that can be scaled across the entire Center. You will implement industry standard web-best practices for designing and deploying effective user interfaces and workflows in the Hub to maximize end-user adoption. You will provide timely customer support and troubleshooting for issues encountered by employees while using the Hub and Power Platform. You will write complex JQL queries to not only build fully customized dashboards but also to enable specific issue linking and project automations. You will implement security measures to resolve vulnerabilities, mitigate risks and recommend security changes to system or system components as needed. You will provide cybersecurity recommendations to leadership based on significant threats and vulnerabilities. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications I have one year of information technology related experience in the federal service or private or public sector demonstrating the following four competencies, as defined: 1. Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Responsible for the analysis and development of the integration, testing, operations and maintenance of systems security. Responsible for developing overall functional requirements and system level requirements. 2. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Responsible for adherence to Department of Defense (DoD) information security/ information assurance policies, principles, and practices in the delivery of the Hub to NIWC employees. 4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: being extremely resourceful, possess a keen sense of attention to detail, be forward thinking, and be able to solve complex problems in a timely manner, with little to no oversight. NO-05: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band NO-04 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Extensive experience in configuring and customizing JIRA, to support enterprise business processes, including dashboards, workflows, screens, fields, permission and notification schemes; ensuring compliance with DoD IT policies and implemented security controls to remediate vulnerabilities, mitigate risk, and recommend system security enhancements.
