ASRC Federal Infrastructure Support (AFSI), a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, is seeking a Reliability Centered Maintenance Engineer to support a prime program at NASA Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, AL.
Responsibilities :
Develop, lead, and continuously improve the Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) program, ensuring alignment with operational goals and industry best practices.
Analyze Predictive Testing & Inspection (PT&I) data to detect early indicators of equipment degradation and prevent unplanned downtime.
Investigate equipment failures-from single incidents to recurring issues-and determine corrective and preventive actions to eliminate recurrence.
Conduct root cause failure analysis (RCFA) on equipment with multiple or chronic failures, delivering actionable insights and long-term solutions.
Collaborate with maintenance, operations, and engineering teams to implement reliability improvements and monitor their effectiveness.
Support development of maintenance strategies, asset care plans, and reliability standards across the facility.
Requirements:
BS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited engineering school.
Minimum 8 + years or more of related experiences.
Experience with RCM methodologies, PT&I technologies, and reliability engineering tools.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex equipment data.
Hands-on experience conducting failure investigations and root cause analysis.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Satisfactory completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam
