This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration, heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle capable of routinely carrying people and payloads to low-Earth orbit, geostationary transfer orbit, cislunar, and beyond. Its first stage is fully reusable, and the vehicle was designed from the beginning to be human-capable.
As part of a small, passionate, and accomplished team of experts, you will lead the New Glenn Mission Management efforts to support NASA and building a sustainable infrastructure for our transport of crew and cargo from Earth to the Lunar surface. You will share in the team's impact on all aspects of New Glenn launch vehicle development and getting astronauts back to the moon.

Responsibilities:
Develop the vision for the New Glenn's support to NASA programs in alignment with overall enterprise goals
Oversee the portfolio of contracts, programs and launches under New Glenn's NASA Program Office
Interface with the Lunar Business Unit to align on strategic planning, architecture alignment, and execution of HLS programs and support to the NASA customer
Lead a team of engineers and project managers to implement requirements on programs and missions including the Artemis Lunar program as well as science, exploratory, and earth observation missions across NASA's mission portfolio.
Support and cultivate future business opportunities with the NASA customer, overseeing proposal development, special studies, and advanced planning
Manage all aspects of NASA LSP customer relationship and programs
Support NASA mission success initiatives through streamlined and effective NASA certification and insight engagement
Implement project management processes and tools to ensure efficient, effective execution of all contracted scope
Establish business continuity, alignment, and efficiency for all existing NASA agreements and future technologies
Minimum Qualifications:
B.S. in Engineering field
10+ years managing complex, multi-disciplinary, fast-paced, aerospace projects
5+ years of industry experience in launch system or satellite operations
Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and driving continuous improvement initiatives
Ability to travel within the U.S. and abroad
Preferred Qualifications:
Exceptional leadership, organizational, team building, and people management skills
Strategic thinker with a detail-oriented approach
Ability to influence and lead change within the organization
Experience in the development of launch vehicles
Experience in working with government customers
Compensation Range for:
CA applicants is $218,262.00 - $305,566.80
CO applicants is $206,673.00 - $289,342.20
WA applicants is $218,262.00 - $305,566.80
