Responsibilities You will apply a wide range of Human Resources theories, principles, laws, rules, regulations and procedures covering position classification, staffing and placement, pay setting and reduction in force/workforce reshaping etc. You will have knowledge of position management theories. policies, principles and practices. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications NO-03 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band NO-02 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Assisting management in a wide range of staffing issues such as workforce shaping, special placement programs and recruitment methods. Reviewing position descriptions (PD's) for accuracy and proper classification, responding to formal/informal HR-related inquiries, and assisting employees with HR questions and issues. NO-02 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band NO-01 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Reviewing non-competitive personnel and pay actions for accuracy and completeness. Advising management on the appropriate type of recruitment sources and appointing authorities in both the competitive and excepted service to achieve their recruiting goals. Utilizing database systems (e.g., DCPDS and USA Staffing) to complete recruitment and classification tasks. Additional Information This position is in the Science & Technology Reinvention Laboratory (STRL) Human Resource Management System pay band for Department of Defense laboratories.
