Summary You will serve as an IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC) in the Corporate Operations, Code 80000 of NAVWARSYSCEN PACIFIC SAN DIEGO CA. Responsibilities You will provide senior-level managerial and technical leadership for the multidisciplinary teams that design, develop, operate, and sustain NIWC-PAC's Research-Development-Test-and-Evaluation networks and enterprise-wide computing environment. You will establish the vision, goals, performance metrics for each service center, aligns their missions with NIWC-PAC's objectives and overall enterprise-IT strategy, and conduct strategic planning, budgeting, and cost-of-ownership analyses. You will serve as the command's recognized subject-matter authority, influencing major proposals, architecture reviews, and strategic decisions. You will guide cloud-network engineering efforts, support hybrid-environment transitions, and evaluates technical solutions that affect the RDTE Network Control Board. You will provide mentorship, technical direction, and performance feedback to a team of roughly 30-40 technical staff. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or NO-05 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Leads the design, operation, and sustainment of commands networks and enterprise IT, directing multidisciplinary teams, guiding enterprise architecture and cloud transitions, evaluating network solutions, and overseeing IT procurement, contracts, and vendor performance.
