Job Overview
The Risk Governance Analyst plays a critical role in the identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks across the organization. This position is responsible for supporting the various disciplines overseen by the Governance Team, including the Company's Enterprise Risk Management, Corporate Policy Administration, Corporate Privacy, Corporate Records Management, and Vendor Management (collectively, "Governance Programs"). The Risk Governance Analyst will work collaboratively with various departments to promote a risk-aware culture and proactively address potential threats to the organization's objectives.
A Typical Day
The Risk Governance Analyst will:
Conduct comprehensive risk assessments across various areas of the organization, including operational, financial, regulatory, and reputational risks.- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to reduce the likelihood and impact of identified risks.- Maintain and execute requirements specified within the Governance Programs policies and procedures that align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.- Monitor compliance with Governance Program policies and procedures, and ensure adherence to relevant regulatory requirements.- Prepare and present routine reporting on the Company's compliance with the Governance Programs, highlighting key risks and mitigation efforts.- Collaborate with various departments to identify and address potential risks proactively.- Continuously evaluate and improve the Governance Program frameworks to ensure effectiveness.- Perform other related duties as required and assigned.- Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization's desired culture and values.
What You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field. Strong understanding of risk assessment methodologies and risk mitigation strategies. Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and risk management software. Professional certifications such as Certified Risk Manager (CRM) or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) preferred. Experience in the financial services industry or a regulated environment is preferred

Compensation: Individual salary may vary based on multiple factors including specific role, geographic location / market data, and skills and experience as defined below:
Lower in range - Building skills and experience in the role
Mid-range - Experience and skills align with proficiency in the role
Higher in range - Experience and skills add value above typical requirements of the role
Some roles may be eligible for performance-based compensation and/or stock-based incentives awarded to employees based on company and individual performance.
