Engineering Analyst, Senior
Clearance Level: US Citizen with active Secret clearance

Roles/Responsibilities:
In the role of Engineering Analyst, Senior, you will leverage your expertise to:
· Coordinate with program and project leaders to analyze system and product architecture, design, coding, and overall performance.
· Identify and develop comprehensive strategies for addressing complex technical requirements, risks, and project issues.
· Conduct detailed trade-off analyses of requirements against fiscal, schedule, and performance constraints to support decision-making.
· Demonstrate advanced problem-solving skills to resolve technical and engineering challenges within the field.
· Provide high-level analytical support throughout the engineering life cycle to ensure project alignment with mission goals.
· Provide network and laboratory infrastructure management and logistics support.
· Provide technical support to all CSD lab systems and CSD Customer lab systems.
· Support includes operations, maintenance, securing or hardening, development, integration, modification, monitoring, configuration management, testing, deployment, documentation, and certification of all information systems.
· Prepare, review, and update all administrative and security documentation as it relates to maintaining an Authority to Operate (ATO) in accordance with RMF guidelines.
· Implement all IA policies and processes in the labs.
· Conduct daily lab system administrator functions.
· Build, configure, and patch systems.
· Maintain and apply 100% knowledge of systems in the labs, network connections, and software used for programs.
· Answer IA taskers for supported labs.
· Maintain lab documentation (network infrastructure, hardware listings, software listings).
· Initiate IA process paperwork (software approval, elevated privileges, connection requests).
· Conduct periodic scanning of lab resources.
· Identify new IA and network management tools that benefit supported labs.
· Integrate secure on-premise machine learning technologies to respond to threats.
· Develop scripts and software for cybersecurity, IA, and NETOPs purposes.
· Identify IA and NETOPs tools to increase efficiency and improve network, system, application, and data security.
· Conduct Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) scans for CSD and Customer lab systems.
· Ensure System Administrators mitigate open vulnerabilities.
· Conduct Host Based Security Solution (HBSS) scans, maintenance, patching, and reporting for assigned enclaves.
Requirements:
· Education: Bachelor's Degree; Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or another related engineering/technical discipline is required.
· Experience: Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience in engineering analysis and system architecture review.
· Education Substitution: Eight (8) additional years of related experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree.
· Technical Skills: Proven ability to analyze software and hardware architectures and perform complex trade-off studies in a professional engineering environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience working within a DoD Program Executive Office (PEO), Project Manager (O6 PM), or Product Manager (O5 PdM) environment.
· Strong background in Risk Management and the ability to translate technical risks into actionable mitigation strategies for leadership.
· Proficiency in using analytical tools to model performance and fiscal impacts on engineering projects.
