As a Senior/Lead Data Analyst at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, you will lead and deliver comprehensive data analytic solutions across system, division, and business levels. In this role you will be a member of our Credit and Risk Management team and you'llserve as a bridge between technical data systems and business needs, transforming complex datasets into actionable insights.You'llwork closely with diverse stakeholders toidentifyinformation needs, ensure data integrity through cleansing and validation processes, and develop sophisticated analytical tools that drive decision-making. The position requiresexpertisein translating business requirements into technical specifications, performing descriptive and diagnostic analytics, and administering Sharepoint and Teams environments. Your work will directly influence strategic initiatives and operational effectiveness across the organization.
What You'll Do
Lead Data Analytics Initiatives:Identifybusiness intelligence needs and develop solutions of moderate to high complexity
Design & Develop: Create dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using tools like Tableau and Power BI
Ensure Data Quality: Perform data cleansing, validation, andmaintaindata integrity standards
ProvideTechnical Guidance: Support team members on complex issues and stay current with emerging technologies
Support Stakeholders: Work with project teams and business areas to resolve issues and communicate data insights
Drive Process Improvement: Make recommendations to enhance data integrity and workflows
Represent the Organization: Support Federal Reserve System-level initiatives and workgroups
Administer Technology: Manage and maintain the technology used by the business, including Tableau, Sharepoint and Teams
Qualifications for Success
Bachelor's degree or equivalent 4 years of experience
4-5 years of relevant dataanalyticsexperience preferred(8+ years for Lead)
Knowledge of data architecture principles and data quality assurance
Experience with database management systems and business intelligence concepts
Strong data modeling, scripting, and programming abilities
Excellent analytical and communication skills
Education:
Degrees in one of following:
Information Systems
CS
Economics
Data Analytics/Science
Stats
Technical Skills:
ETL Processes
Python/R programming**
Data modeling**
Tableau/Power BI**
SQL Proficiency**
Query Optimization
AWS Ecosystems (S3, Athena, etc.)
MS Sharepoint & Power Platform (Power BI, Apps, Automate)
