PayPal, Inc. seeks Financial Analyst in New York, NY Job Duties: Collaborate with teams across commercial, product, marketing, risk management, analytics, and pricing to maximize financial performance and strategic alignment of financial products. Run the budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes for product Profit and Loss statements - create/update financial models, coordinate periodic forecast and budget submissions, and prepare detailed Key Performance Indicator analyses on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis. Analyze key performance indicators to identify and document trends, risks, and potential investment opportunities. Consolidate findings and present to stakeholders across the organization with strategic, data-driven recommendations. Partner closely with the key stakeholders on all Financial Planning and Analysis matters and perform financial reviews, ad hoc analyses, deep dives into historical financial data, and develop business cases to drive future growth initiatives. Lead continuous process improvement efforts to streamline financial planning and budget management processes for efficiency and accuracy. Provide financial insights to support optimal decision-making processes. Translate decisions into financial outcomes and ensure alignment with forecast and budgetary requirements. Minimum Requirements: Masters degree, or foreign equivalent, in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, Information Systems, or a closely related field plus three years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Special Skill Requirements: 1. Experience with performance and tracking KPIs for performance (3 years).2. Experience performing variance and sensitivity analyses on (daily/weekly/monthly) revenue/margin performance (3 years).4. Experience identifying key business levers, establishing cause & effect, performing analyses, and communicating key findings using tools such as Thinkcell to facilitate data-driven decision-making (3 years).5. Experience with large database manipulation through standard access tools like SQL, along with generating and analyzing data to create reporting for GL, P&L statements, and department budgets (3 years).6. Experience creating and using business intelligence dashboards and reporting to advise and inform the Finance team and executive leadership on business unit and product performance (2 years).7.
