Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Level 3 MDM Analyst to join our global infrastructure team. In this role, you will act as a primary subject matter expert responsible for the architecture, engineering, and support of a massive-scale mobile ecosystem comprising over 25,000 across multinational regions and platforms.
You will move beyond basic administration to focus on holistic system engineering, automation, and security strategy. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and development teams to ensure our mobile strategy aligns with global business goals while maximizing the capabilities of Microsoft Intune, Workspace ONE, and other modern mobile device management solutions.
Job Responsibilities
Infrastructure Engineering & Strategy
Scale Management: Architect, configure, and optimize the enterprise MDM infrastructure (primarily Microsoft Intune/Endpoint Manager, and Workspace ONE) to support a fleet of 25,000+ iOS and Android devices.
Solution Design: Engineer scalable solutions for device lifecycle management, including automated provisioning (DEP/Zero Touch), security configurations, OS updates, and device retirement.
Application Management: Oversee the enterprise-wide distribution and lifecycle of mobile applications (MAM), including Apple VPP, Managed Google Play, and custom internal applications.
Security & Compliance: Partner with the IT Security team to design and enforce Conditional Access policies, compliance profiles, and threat defense mechanisms to protect critical corporate assets.
Advanced Support & Operations
L3 Escalation: Serve as the final escalation point (Level 3) for complex mobile technical issues. Analyze root causes and provide permanent resolutions for problems affecting the global environment.
Knowledge Transfer: Mentor L1 and L2 support teams by creating detailed knowledge base articles, mapping escalation paths, and defining best practices to reduce ticket volume.
Reporting & Analytics: Leverage reporting solutions, but not limited to Microsoft PowerBI and Graph API, to generate advanced reports on fleet health, compliance status, and usage trends to drive decision-making.
Project Management & Collaboration
Global Collaboration: Work effectively with international IT teams, Security Operations Centers (SOC), and account administrators across various time zones.
Continuous Improvement: Lead projects related to infrastructure upgrades, platform migrations, and the integration of new mobile technologies (e.g., introduction of new hardware standards or OS features).
Qualifications
Required Technical Skills: Experience: 5+ years of enterprise-level experience managing iOS and Android platforms. Scale: Proven experience managing large-scale mobile environments (10,00030,000+ devices) using Microsoft Intune (Microsoft Endpoint Manager). Identity & Access: Base understanding of Azure Active Directory (Entra ID), including managing dynamic groups and configuration profiles. Android Enterprise: Expert-level knowledge of Android Enterprise, Samsung KNOX, and Android Zero Touch provisioning. Apple Ecosystem: Proficiency with Apple Business Manager (ABM), Volume Purchase Program (VPP), and Automated Device Enrollment (ADE). Automation: Experience using Microsoft Graph API and PowerShell for automation and reporting.Professional Skills: Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with a holistic view of infrastructure; ability to architect solutions rather than just fix symptoms. Communication: Excellent ability to document technical processes and communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Team Player: Experience working in a diverse, multinational team environment.Preferred Skills: Experience transitioning from legacy platforms (e.g., AirWatch/Workspace ONE) to modern cloud management. Experience managing macOS or Windows 10/11 endpoints via MDM.
