The Team
We are seeking an experienced cyber threat intelligence (CTI) communications professional to support operational cyber defense publications. This role bridges technical intelligence, operational insight, and clear communication by transforming complex threat data into accurate, actionable written products for both technical and executive audiences.
The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, collaborates effectively with analysts and leadership, and delivers polished publications under tight and shifting deadlines.
The Work
Cyber Threat Intelligence Integration
Serve as a CTI subject matter expert, ensuring technical accuracy across publications.
Analyze and synthesize internal intelligence and commercial CTI sources to inform written assessments.
Apply frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, CVE data, and attacker kill chain analysis to contextualize threats and recommend mitigations.
Content Development
Develop and edit cybersecurity-focused content for operational, technical, and strategic audiences.
Translate cyber threat intelligence, vulnerability data, and incident analysis into clear, concise narratives supporting network defenders.
Operational & Stakeholder Support
Lead communication planning and coordinate with analysts, authors, leadership, and external stakeholders.
Adapt quickly to expedited review cycles and last-minute intelligence updates while maintaining product quality.
Support stakeholder engagement across internal teams and partner organizations.
Process Improvement
Contribute to documentation, workflow refinement, and content standardization efforts within the organization.
Identify opportunities to improve clarity, timeliness, and consistency of CTI communications.
Required Qualifications
Active TS/SCI clearance
5+ years of technical or intelligence-focused writing experience
US Citizenship required by federal contract
Preferred Background
Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Prior experience supporting operational cyber defense, intelligence, or similar programs.
Familiarity with government or enterprise CTI production environments
Demonstrated experience translating complex cyber or technical concepts for diverse audiences.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities independently.
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong analytical ability in CTI, including threat, vulnerability, and incident data interpretation.
Exceptional written communication skills with attention to accuracy, clarity, and tone.
Proven ability to work collaboratively across teams while adapting to shifting priorities.
Experience working with SMEs to validate technical content and ensure credibility.
Tools & Technical Proficiency
Microsoft Office Suite
ServiceNow, CRM dashboards, or similar tracking tools
Working familiarity with OSINT and CTI platforms
Understanding of networking fundamentals and adversary tradecraft
Knowledge of:

Diamond Model
CISA products and services (preferred)

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:
$89,649.00 - $152,404.00
