Job Summary
The Senior Analytics Engineer is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining reliable, well-documented data models and analytic assets that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role bridges the gap between data engineering and analytics-transforming raw data into clean, trusted, and scalable datasets that support reporting, analysis, and advanced insights.
Working closely with analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders, the Analytics Engineer will develop and optimize data pipelines, enforce data quality standards, and promote consistent practices for modeling, testing, and documentation. The position requires strong data transformation and SQL skills, a deep understanding of data architecture and lifecycle management, and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions that are efficient, maintainable, and auditable.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Data Modeling
Designs and maintains robust data models to support scalable analytics and reporting solutions. Translates business requirements into logical and physical data structures, ensuring data integrity, consistency, and performance across platforms. Collaborates with engineering and analytics teams to optimize data architecture for efficient querying and analysis.
Analytic Tool Development
Develops and deploys interactive data applications that enable data exploration and visualization of insights. Builds tools that enable self-service or communicate complex analytics clearly to internal customers.
Self-Service Product Development
Design and build data products that enable users to explore and analyze data independently using AI-driven tools or natural language interfaces.
Analytics Support
Collaborate with business stakeholders and analysts on data management related to report development, database design, standards, and operational efficiencies.
Data Quality and Governance
Assist in the implementation of strategies and tactics to enhance data quality, accuracy, completeness, and consistency across multiple data sources and systems. Assist business units in understanding data governance and make recommendations to improve organization-wide data quality and consistency.
Documentation and Procedures
Document appropriate procedures necessary to enforce standards, communicate best practices, define roles and responsibilities, and sustain ongoing operations. Define and promote effective documentation best practices internally and externally.
Security / Compliance
Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations. Maintain a working knowledge of security threats, laws, and policy for data privacy and protection; take steps to protect organizational data from accidental or unauthorized damage, modification, or disclosure; assist with security and access management.
Technical Support and Guidance
Provide collaborative technical support and guidance to end-users, analysts, and stakeholders on data-related matters, tools, and technologies. Troublesh
