Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY IT SPECIALIST (PLCYPLN) in the DEVSECOPS ARCH (CODE 53231) of NAVWARSYSCEN PACIFIC SAN DIEGO CA. Responsibilities You will manage and supervise a complex team of scientists, engineers, IT specialists, and administrative specialists on various Center projects. You will provide technical, project management, and contract oversight of branch projects, as requested by the division head. You will communicate and enforce policies and procedures; resolving conduct and performance problems in collaboration with division leadership; recommending awards and promotions; providing technical and career guidance. You will involve the design, engineering, architecture, implementation and management of Information Technology (IT) systems. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications I have one year of information technology related experience in the federal service or private or public sector demonstrating the following four competencies, as defined: 1. In addition to my experience demonstrating the four competencies above, I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-13 or pay band NM-04 in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector Providing technical and project management oversight, demonstrating skill in executing systems engineering tasks for Command and Control (C2) systems; applying knowledge of IT systems processes; and knowledge of personnel management processes (i.e. hiring, promotions, awards, etc.) and assessing employees' performance. The pay schedule for all Supervisor Positions will be NM-2/3/4/5/6.
