This is a full-time position working M-F, 8am-4:30pm. The hours could vary due to business needs. Weekly earned wage access is an option for this position.
Job Purpose or Objective(s): The Construction Quality Technician 2 performs intermediate to advanced quality oversight of Choctaw Nation Construction Administration (CNCA) projects. This role supports quality assurance throughout the lifecycle, identifies and resolves quality issues, and provides guidance and training to other Construction Quality and Field associates. The Technician 2 ensures that construction work aligns with Choctaw Nation's quality standards, helping to deliver safe, durable, and compliant projects.
Primary Tasks:
Review construction design documents for constructability, accuracy, and alignment with CNO quality standards and contract requirements.
Conduct on-site inspections of active construction work to verify compliance with contract documents and established quality protocols.
Document inspection results with photos and written notes, prepare official inspection reports, and distribute them to appropriate project stakeholders; archive inspection records and supporting documentation.
Coordinate with Project Teams to monitor and support quality compliance from project start through closeout, including attending meetings and field coordination activities.
Collaborate with CNCA Field Representatives, testing labs, and third-party inspectors to ensure required testing meetings contract and industry standards.
Support the development and execution of final inspections and punch list processes, ensuring accurate documentation and issue resolution.
Provide training and mentoring to other CNO Associates on construction quality standards and inspection procedures.
Communicate with contractors, internal teams, and other departments to resolve quality concerns and promote compliance.
Participate in required training and certification programs to maintain the qualifications necessary for the role.
Perform other responsibilities as may be assigned.
Required Education and Experience:
Associate's degree in a construction related field or;
An equivalent combination of education and experience
Completion of relevant certification(s) such as OSHA 10-Hour, ACI Field Testing Technician, or ICC Special Inspector
Working knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, and submittals
Experience using Bluebeam, Procore, or similar construction management software in a field setting
Familiarity with quality assurance practices, testing standards, and industry inspection protocols
Ability and willingness to travel daily to various construction sites
Four (4) years of experience in construction or quality control
