Position Summary
(U) Intelligence Graphic Artists on contract will produceprint graphics in support of finished intelligence (FINTEL). The artist will provide support in
the creation of value-added intelligence products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Ensureintelligence products effectively convey information and comply with Intelligence Communitystandards.
Collaborate with internal teams and other stakeholders to fullyunderstand product details, goals, and objectives.
The Graphic Artist will take draft products anddocumentation from concept to completion, ensuring each graphical document delivers thecorrect information in an easy-to-understand format.
Graphic artists are responsible for creatingand modifying graphics, illustrations, brochures, manuals, publications, and other artwork tobetter communicate textual content.
Graphic Artists research and create maps, pictures, charts,bar scales, and graphics that highlight key themes in products.
Graphic Artists develop andmaintain databases of stored graphics to quickly create products. They will operate standardcomputer hardware and software to prepare, revise, print, and store text, illustrations, graphs,and charts and assist with basic illustrations and detail from models, sketches, memory, writtenor oral instructions, and imagination.
The Graphic Artists will select font type, draw lettering,layout materials, and perform duties. They will determine the style, technique, and medium bestsuited to produce the preferred effects and conform to reproduction requirements.
GraphicArtists shall listen and work with analysts to make recommendations that assist illustrating keythemes in graphical format. They will quickly grasp complex topics, identify main themes, andwhile using imagination, deliver high-quality content for the intended audience in text andpictures. Contractor Graphic Artists will analyze information and determine the clearest andmost logical way to graphically communicate information for greatest comprehension and willgenerate innovative ideas for content and workflow solutions while meeting with subject-matterexperts to ensure specialized topics are appropriately addressed.
Clearance Required: An Active DoD TS/SCI
Requirements
(U) Minimum Requirements
Knowledge and Skills
Bachelor's degree or minimum four (4) years of experience working in a professionalenvironment in lieu of a degree.
Experience using Adobe Creative Suite or Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with graphic design and layout.
Knowledge of the DoD and Intelligence Community (IC).
Experience in data visualization and a DoD environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Salary at MAG Aerospace is determined by various factors including but not limited to location, the particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $94500 to $175500 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of MAG's total compensation package for employees.
