Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center seeks Business Intelligence Analyst I in New York, NY to identify and collect necessary information, from internal and external sources, as appropriate, and prepare data for analysis. Design, develop, review, edit, and distribute Nursing Sensitive Indicators (NSI)/Central Processing Department (CPD) metrics on routine schedule. Respond to frequent requests and inquires on specific questions regarding NSI/CPD metrics. Design and develop appropriate ad hoc reports to meet the information and performance improvement needs of performance improvement teams, clinicians, and administrators. Validate the data integrity and accuracy of report. Design and develop databases and database-driven applications for data collection, analysis, and reporting pertaining to NSI/CPD reporting. Ensure data integrity and database security. Perform custom modifications when needed. Provide support for other users who access the database in query and report writing. Help resolve data-related problems of departmental staff members. Provide supervision to staff engaged in data-intensive projects. Provide training to staff in use of hardware and software products. Develop and support departmental intranet web page. Ensure accuracy and quality of work produced. Part-time telecommuting permitted.
