The Institutional Analytics and Research (IAR) team supports and enables most university teams, departments, and colleges to make data-informed decisions that lead to better student outcomes. Our analysts, scientists, researchers, and managers are distributed across several teams:Institutional Research, Institutional Metrics and Insights, Outreach Analytics,Faculty Analytics, Curriculum Analytics, and Student Success Analytics.

The Role: Data Analyst
As a Data Analyst, you'll extract, process, analyze, and report on data to produce actionable insights and research. You'll collaborate with peers and leaders across IAR, Data Engineering, Product Management, and Faculty, performing ad hoc analyses, building standard reports and visualizations, and delivering information that drives decision-making.

Use SQL to extract and transform data from multiple sources.

What You Bring
Bachelor's degree in a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
3+ years of experience in Data Analysis, Business Intelligence, Data Science, Statistics, Decision Intelligence, Research, Learning Science, or Behavioral/Cognitive Psychology.
Experience with SQL (queries, joins, CTEs, window functions, performance tuning).
