Employer: RMGS Inc.
Location: Joint Base Little Creek (JBLC), Virginia Beach, Virginia
Clearance Required: Active TS/SCI
Position Type: Full-Time, On-Site Contractor
Position overview
RMGS Inc. is seeking a highly qualified Geospatial Analytic Trainer to train personnel to conduct Full Motion Video (FMV) Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (PED) from air, space, ground, and maritime Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) assets. The Analytic Trainer will produce detailed analytical products to build Patterns of Life (PoL), develop target descriptions, and conduct order of battle analysis, Activity Based Intelligence (ABI), Battle Damage Assessments (BDA), and traditional Imagery Intelligence (IMINT) tradecraft. The trainer will also perform traditional PED on electro-optical, infrared, radar motion, and still-frame imagery while serving as a Robotic Surface Operator and instructor.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct training on Tactical ISR Processing Systems, including Automated Information Discovery Environment (AIDE) THOR systems, to cover setup, operation, network connections, troubleshooting, and tear down.
- Instruct GEOINT PED analysis across airborne and undersea platforms and payload capabilities.
- Provide instruction on data ingestion, transport, and storage from a variety of maritime and undersea ISR platforms.
- Teach all three phases of PED (Phase 1–3) and the products required under each phase.
- Maintain course continuity and provide regular updates to training curriculum, tests, and course databases, including catalogs of materials for advanced PED practical exercises.
- Draft feedback on student participation and performance for N2 staff, including recommendations for remediation or removal from training as necessary.
- Adapt course curriculum to relevant Areas of Operation and target sets for class participants.
- Maintain cognizance of emerging geographic and functional Areas of Operation, target sets, GEOINT exploitation and analytic software, and other new technologies relevant to Command priorities, incorporating them into training as appropriate.
- Perform high-level imagery analysis and production, all-source intelligence analysis and production, and evaluate intelligence systems architecture, procedures, processes, techniques, models, and methodologies to develop complex solutions to requirements.
- Create and present comprehensive intelligence products and assessments in support of Command initiatives and missions.
- Provide relevant analytic intelligence summaries and assessments to support the development of Mission Concepts (MICONs) and Concepts of Operation (CONOPs).
GEOINT and SONAR duties
- Focus on Full Spectrum GEOINT and SONAR imagery analysis, emphasizing GEOINT MASINT for spectral and SONAR data.
- Conduct highly detailed subsea geospatial analysis and production, including raw SONAR imagery processing, image rectification, seafloor characterization, environmental analysis, bathymetric processing, and specialized map production.
- Perform high-level undersea geospatial analysis, imagery product production, and evaluation of related intelligence systems and processes.
Instructional duties
- Deliver classroom and practical instruction on Tactical ISR Processing Systems, including AIDE THOR systems.
- Train on data ingestion and transport methods from maritime and undersea ISR platforms and on data storage best practices.
- Maintain and update course materials, tests, and practical exercise scenarios aligned with current GEOINT PED tradecraft and technology.
- Ensure training content reflects current GEOINT exploitation tools and new technologies related to GEOINT PED, incorporating them into the curriculum when applicable.
Required qualifications
- Current/active TS/SCI security clearance.
- Strong, demonstrated briefing and presentation skills.
- Ability to multi-task effectively in a high-stress, time-sensitive operational environment.
- At least 4 years of operational and tactical intelligence experience, including targeting, intelligence systems, and geospatial systems.
- At least 4 years of experience directing subordinate analysts in producing intelligence products and assessments.
- At least 4 years of experience using computer applications and intelligence-related automation in support of analytic efforts and product development.
- At least 4 years of core IMINT analysis and FMV exploitation experience.
- At least 8 years of hands-on GEOINT analytical experience within the Department of War or Intelligence Community.
- At least 5 years of geospatial intelligence experience supporting Special Operations Forces (SOF) operations.
- At least 2 years (within the last 3 years) using GEOINT exploitation tools such as SOCET GXP, AIDE, SONARWIZ, and ArcGIS.
- At least 2 years of experience in GEOINT analysis, GEOINT production, intelligence architecture, intelligence databases, quality control, and training; military personnel with 2 years of hands-on GEOINT PED analysis experience in the SOF community meet this requirement.
- Experience working with multiple intelligence disciplines (HUMINT, IMINT, GEOINT, SIGINT, OSINT, etc.) and a solid understanding of associated data and tools.
- Master-level ability to research, gather and process data, analyze facts, draw conclusions, fuse results with other intelligence and databases, and develop solutions to intelligence-related problems, including extensive and current knowledge of commercial and government tools and research methods.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team and to lead selected tasks as required.
