ob Purpose or Objective(s):
Responsible for the protection of all property of the Choctaw Nation, rendering lifesaving aid when needed, operating under high stress dynamic situations while maintaining the highest level of professionalism, and for ensuring policies and procedures are followed as applicable.
Some positions Security office will be armed some positions unarmed. Armed Security is $19.30 an hour, unarmed security $15.50 an hour
*Must be able to pass the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI) during new hire training. Start rate: $16.85 per hour until MMPI and the Security New Hire Training is passed. Once passed, pay rate will increase to $19.30 per hour. *
Primary Tasks:
You will escort vendors and associates across the casino property.
Work designated posts as determined by management.
Control the lost and found post, to include tracking and storing and gathering from different points in the casino and property.
Access and retrieve computerized data.
Investigate unusual or suspicious situations.
Help with emergency situations.
Maintain security and procedures according to rules.
Patrol internal and external company property
Have knowledge of company regulations and procedures.
Maintain logbook of all activity occurring daily.
Operate firefighting equipment and short-wave radio and administer CPR and first aid.
Write incident reports regarding all security issues, accidents, theft, or vandalism and submit to the Security Supervisor.
Refer dangerous situations or complex problems to supervisor.
Other tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required
At least of 21 years of age.
Experience working with computers
Must be medically fit and able to perform all the essential functions of a Security Officer and pass a physical fitness test.
Must have a valid state driver's license.
Must have basic knowledge of computers to allow report writing, composition or correspondence[,](http://email.you/){target="_blank"}Internetand email.
You must be able to reason and react calmly and quickly in emergency[and](http://situations.you/){target="_blank"}life-threateningsituations.
You must be able to qualify yearly with department firearms
