As a Temporary Payment Analyst I or II, your role is pivotal in ensuring timely and accurate processing of various back office operational functions to ensure seamless execution and delivery of consumer and business payment services for WSECU members. End date for the temporary assignment is March 31, 2026. In this role you'll be providing phone, chat and email support to members and coworkers for operational, technical and service-related needs. You'll be responsible for handling member and employee inquiries related to payment services, while performing accurate and timely execution of department related back-office functions. You'll be providing operational and technical support to internal and external members for ACH, check processing, Mobile Deposit, Bill Pay, Peer to Peer P2P, Digital Currency, Wire Processing, and oversight and maintenance related to our core processing system, Symitar. Your day may include:

Effectively managing high call volumes, directly assisting members and credit union business lines
Performing various support and maintenance tasks to ensure effective delivery of department operating functions under the responsibility of the Payments Department
Providing technical support across various software platforms, including Application Enhancer, Federal Reserve, FIS, Image Center/Smart Pay, PASS, Symitar and Vanco
Participating in business line network and user groups upholding credit union standards in the sharing of information
Identifying opportunities for process improvement or efficiency in department operations and works with leaders to support implementation efforts when feasible

Competitive pay for Payments Analyst I: $20.86 - $31.29 per hour, dependent on relevant qualifications plus an annual discretionary incentive plan
The target starting pay for this position is $20.86 - $26.07 per hour, typically within the first half of the range. Actual offers will be based on individual qualifications relevant to the role and will not take an applicant's pay history into account.
Minimum of two (2) years' experience in a financial institution with preference given for experience in a back office operating area
Minimum of two (2) years' experience in customer service, data and/or transaction analysis
Computer experience including proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
Effective oral and written communication skills
Ability to analyze information and form recommendations

Competitive pay for Payments Analyst II: $23.29 - $34.94 per hour, dependent on relevant qualifications plus an annual discretionary incentive plan
The target starting pay for this position is $23.29 - $29.12 per hour, typically within the first half of the range. Actual offers will be based on individual qualifications relevant to the role and will not take an applicant's pay history into account.
