Rocket Limited Partnership has multiple openings for the position of Sr. Information Security Analyst (Ref# SISARLP) .
Work Location: 1050 Woodward Ave. Detroit, MI 48226. Position may telecommute from anywhere in the U.S.
Job Duties: Ensure security of company systems and applications. Monitor events, investigate and analyze issues and develop solutions to critical issues. Develop security strategies, protect against unauthorized access, modification, or destruction, and manage user access control protocols. Audit systems and applications to ensure access controls and detect vulnerabilities. Analyze systems, security controls and event logs for nefarious activity. Document existing processes and exceptions based on audit findings and best practices. Test new technologies during proofs of concepts to ensure product claims and abilities meet information security requirements. Perform testing of information security-specific processes, including incident response plans. Investigate and respond to cyber security incidents. Translate existing controls and concepts into audits to determine effectiveness of controls. Perform penetration testing and endpoint security monitoring. Implement the company's data security policies and procedures and ensure compliance. Use coding and scripting languages to identify security issues within structured and unstructured data sets. Reverse engineer malware. Establish disaster recovery plans and respond to incidents. Maintain awareness of applicable cybersecurity news, emerging threat trends, and keep up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity technologies.
Requirements: This position requires a Master's degree or foreign academic equivalent in Cybersecurity, Information Security, or a related field. Plus 3 months of experience in the job offered or a related occupation including Information Security Intern or related experience. Position requires 3 months of experience with the following tools/technologies/skills: performing information security audits; applying enterprise risk methodologies & concepts of network design; analyzing information security incidents & proposing solutions; programming & scripting using Python & PowerShell; and using information security tools for User & Entity Behavior Analytics, Security Information & Event Management, & email security. 40hrs/week.
