SUMMARY:
Grand Sierra Resort is seeking an Automation and Integration Analyst to learn and support the technical implementation of intelligent automation solutions and enterprise integrations that enhance guest experiences and operational efficiency. This growth-oriented role serves as a technical support function for business-driven AI initiatives while assisting with IT infrastructure and modernization across our organization.
MINIMUM/PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent technical background
1-3 years of software development experience or recent graduate with demonstrated programming ability
Exposure to modern development environments and version control (Git, Visual Studio Code)
A strong understanding of APIs and system integrations, including RESTful services, authentication protocols (OAuth, SAML), and data transformation techniques.
Gaming or hospitality industry experience preferred
CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES
Must be able to maintain appropriate Gaming License
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the team member is constantly sitting, standing, frequently walking, occasionally reaching overhead, bending over, crouching, kneeling, crawling, climbing, and balancing during the duration of their shift.
Must be able to push/pull 75lbs or less occasionally.
The team member will occasionally have repetitive use of both feet and constant repetitive use of both hands.
Occasional light and firm/strong grasping motions will be required.
Team member will also require occasional light and firm/strong grasping motions of both hands.
Finger dexterity of both hands will be occasionally required.
Constant use of vision abilities is required including distance, depth perception, field of vision, and color vision.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work performed indoors and outdoors, alone and frequently with and around others.
Team Member will perform work face-to-face including verbal contact with others on extended shifts around computer equipment, mechanical equipment, and other electrical devices.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
Technical Consulting and Research
Serve as internal AI advisor, researching and evaluating emerging technologies and tools
Support business units with basic AI-related questions under guidance
Assist in presenting technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders across the organization
Support vendor interactions and help evaluate new technology solutions
Business Systems Development
Learn to translate business requirements into functional automation solutions and system integrations
Assist in building custom integrations between gaming systems, hospitality platforms, and emerging technologies
Support development of automation solutions and intelligent agents for business stakeholders
Collaborate with business units (marketing, finance, operations) to learn and support AI-driven process improvements
Utilize low-code and no-code platforms to rapidly develop and deploy automation solutions, reducing traditional development time and enabling faster business response.
Work with data warehouse teams to understand AI tool integration with organizational data through platforms like Microsoft Copilot Studio
