Content Platforms & Operations is responsible for the development and ongoing advancement of the technical and operational functions driving the worldwide distribution and monetization of Disney's linear networks and theatrical content. This includes Disney's media supply chain and storage, network and theatrical distribution operations, media localization, network transmission and origination, and more. The global team also plays a critical role as the primary collaboration point for Product & Technology with Disney's EMEA, APAC, and LATAM regional business teams.
Job Summary:
The Lead Data Analyst within the Business Engagement group plays a pivotal role in advancing continuous business and technology transformation initiatives across Content Platforms & Operations. This role combines deep analytical expertise with strong business acumen to deliver insights that shape strategy, accelerate decision-making, and drive measurable impact. The Lead Analyst will leverage advanced skills in data collection, analysis, and visualization to evaluate opportunities, model scenarios, and monitor progress against transformation goals. In addition, they will ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of core data sets to enable agile operational assessments and reliable performance tracking.
Responsibilities and Duties of the Role:
Business Metrics & Strategic Insights
Partner with Business Relationship Management, Product, and Engineering teams to understand business processes and the data that drives them.
Conduct scenario modeling to evaluate opportunities for efficiencies and improved outcomes.
Track, analyze, and report on transformation commitments, from initial definition through to achievement.
Technology & Performance Measurement
Define, establish, and maintain reporting on key performance metrics across Content Platforms & Operations.
Collaborate with stakeholders to capture data requirements and ensure accuracy, consistency, and long-term integrity of data sources.
Provide regular insights and analysis on performance against milestones to inform leadership decision-making.
Process & Workflow Optimization
Identify and recommend process improvements that enhance consistency, scalability, and automation, with an emphasis on reducing administrative burden.
Support successful change adoption through documentation, training, and ongoing guidance.
Promote best practices by staying informed on emerging tools, methodologies, and industry benchmarks.
Required Education, Experience/Skills/Training:
BA/BS or equivalent experience
7+ years of relevant working experience across Finance, Data, Media & Entertainment and Technology or a consulting role
Experience in working in a matrix environment and managing multiple stakeholders, and possess leadership presence/gravitas
Perform and deliver large-scale, consistently trustable, precise and actionable quantitative and qualitative analyses

The hiring range for this position in California is $170,500 to $228,600 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
