Description:
The Director of Revenue Management is responsible for maximizing total hotel revenue across rooms and food & beverage by developing and executing effective pricing, distribution, and inventory strategies for a large hotel. This role focuses on outperforming the competitive set through data-driven decision-making, targeted marketing alignment, and strategic management of hotel inventory to drive topline growth and profitability.The salary range for this position is $116,900 to $181,200. This is the pay range for this position that Hyatt Regency San Francisco Airport reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, such as experience and education. Key Responsibilities
Revenue & Profit Optimization
Develop and implement comprehensive pricing, distribution, and inventory strategies to maximize revenue across all segments and channels.
Optimize channel mix and manage distribution partners to ensure competitive positioning and cost efficiency.
Leverage forecasting, market intelligence, and demand analysis to guide strategic decisions and outperform the competitive set.
Monitor and adjust strategies based on market conditions, competitor performance, and evolving demand patterns.
Forecasting & Analysis
Produce accurate daily, weekly, monthly, and long-term revenue forecasts to inform budgeting, planning, and operational decisions.
Oversee revenue management analytics to generate insights, dashboards, and reports that evaluate business strategies and identify opportunities.
Ensure data integrity and provide actionable recommendations based on performance trends and market analysis.
Commercial Strategy & Collaboration
Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to align strategies that optimize demand and revenue across all channels.
Support marketing initiatives with insights on segmentation, timing, and offer strategy to improve conversion and capture market share.
Participate in key commercial meetings and contribute to the hotel's overall strategic planning process.
Leadership & Team Development
Lead, mentor, and develop revenue analysts, revenue managers, and other commercial team members to enhance capabilities and performance.
Foster a collaborative, data-driven culture focused on continuous improvement and growth.
Provide training and guidance on revenue management tools, systems, and best practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Finance, or related field (Master's preferred).
Proven experience in hotel revenue management, preferably in a full-service or large hotel environment.
Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Expertise with revenue management systems, PMS, forecasting tools, and distribution platforms.
Exceptional communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
