We have an exciting opportunity for a Gateway ATCS Thermal Analysis Engineer to join the team with Nexus, a teammate company.

The ATCS Thermal Analysis Engineer will:
Develop and maintain high-fidelity thermal models using tools such as Thermal Desktop and SINDA/FLUINT.
Perform steady-state and transient thermal analyses for spacecraft components and integrated systems.
Evaluate thermal performance under various mission phases, including launch, transit, lunar orbit, and quiescent modes.
Support thermal verification activities, including test planning, data analysis, and model correlation.
Collaborate with design teams to optimize thermal control strategies (e.g., pumps and valves, coolant loops, cold plates, heat exchangers, sublimators, and radiators) and provide guidance on thermal considerations.
Participate in design reviews, technical interchange meetings, and anomaly investigations.
Document analysis results and present findings to internal stakeholders and NASA customers.
Requisition Qualifications:

Typically requires a bachelor's degree in Engineering and a minimum of 2-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
Experience in the design, analysis, testing, certification, and operation of space ATCS systems and components, which may include but not be limited to pumps and valves, coolant loops, cold plates, heat exchangers, sublimators, radiators, and heat exchangers during pre-launch, flight, and post-landing phases.
Proven experience in thermal analysis and design for aerospace systems. Experience with Thermal Desktop or similar thermal analysis tools is highly desirable.
Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to coordinate support from a wide range of technical disciplines.
Requisition Preferences:
BS degree in engineering from an accredited engineering school and a minimum of two (2) years of direct engineering experience.
Familiar with JSC organizations, processes, and procedures.
The ability to coordinate support from a wide range of technical disciplines.
Familiarity with the Engineering Life Cycle process.
