Business Intelligence Analyst - People Analytics

The role is focused on data visualization, reporting, and analytics within a people-focused (HR) organization. Candidates should be experienced in transforming complex workforce and organizational data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making.
Summary
The Business Intelligence Analyst will develop and maintain analytics tools, dashboards, and reports that empower business and HR stakeholders with meaningful, data-driven insights. This role blends technical expertise with strategic thinking to improve the accessibility and impact of workforce analytics across the organization.
Our Ideal Candidate
5+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or people analytics
Passion for turning complex data into clear, actionable insights
Strong foundation in data visualization and dashboard design (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar)
Skilled in data integration and transformation using tools such as Databricks or enterprise data warehouses (EDW)
Familiar with SQL and experienced in creating and maintaining datasets, metrics, and reporting pipelines
Able to partner with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business needs into data solutions
Skilled communicator who can present findings and trends through visual storytelling and strategic recommendations
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects, document progress, and drive alignment among stakeholders
Innovative mindset with an interest in optimizing data systems and reporting tools for continuous improvement
Job Description
In this role, you will design and optimize dashboards and reports that simplify workforce data and support informed decision-making.
You'll collaborate with technical and business partners to integrate and maintain data from multiple sources, ensuring quality, consistency, and usability across the analytics ecosystem.
Key responsibilities include developing data visualizations, onboarding new datasets, and maintaining alignment with data architecture standards. You'll also work closely with stakeholders to plan and execute analytics projects, uncover workforce trends, and craft narratives that influence business strategy.
This role combines analytical rigor with creative problem-solving-ideal for someone who enjoys blending data analysis, stakeholder management, and strategic storytelling.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in data analytics, business, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
Background in business intelligence, HR analytics, or enterprise reporting environments
Experience building and maintaining dashboards, metrics, and data visualizations
Proficiency with data platforms, visualization tools, and SQL
Demonstrated ability to analyze and present workforce or operational trends to leadership
The pay for this W-2 position ranges from $58-$61 per hour. This position may be eligible for PTO, health and dental insurance, and/or 401(k) benefits upon meeting certain length of service and hours requirements.
