HX5 is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced MBSE Lead/Engineer to provide visible and active leadership in delivering excellent Quality, Operational, and Reliability results across our MBSE Suite of tools which includes IBM ELM and Cameo. You will play a critical role in servicing the MBSE community by ensuring compliance, driving user adoption, and developing reusable MBSE standards to improve our processes and enhance our documentation and compliance efforts.
A qualified MBSE Service Owner supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract at Redstone Arsenal, in Alabama.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Leadership and Compliance
Provide visible and active leadership in delivering excellent quality, Operational, and Reliability results related to our MBSE tools and processes.
Implement Security Technical Implementations Guides (STIG) requirements to maintain compliance acress all applicable MBSE suites, ensuring the reliability and accuracy of all compliance systems.
Training and Development:
Manage training processes in Finished Products, aligning them with the goals and directions of MDA (Missle Defense Agency) and the MBSE Suites of tools.
Develop and maintain documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), troubleshooting guides, and
comprehensive training materials.
MBSE Model Development:
Collaborate with project teams to understand the data model structure of current processes and develop methods to
incorporate these models into reusable MBSE standard model(s).
Contribute to the evolution and standardization of our MBSE environment.
User Engagement and Support:
Support engagement processes to ensure end-users feel empowered with the process and tool usage.
Proactively seek feedback and implement improvements to enhance user experience and satisfaction.
Onboarding and Rollout:
Engage with project teams to outline onboarding and rollout plans for new projects and tool implementations. This
includes defining delivery schedules, identifying training needs, and assessing the impact on the current MBSE tools
infrastructure.
Best Practices and Continuous Improvement:
Demonstrate a willingness to seek out and implement best practices by collaborating with internal teams and leveraging
external vendors
Continuously evaluate and improve our MBSE processes and tools.
Reporting and Metrics:
Design reports and metrics from the MCSE tools to assist with documentation and compliance efforts.
Provide data-driven insights to improve process efficiency and effectiveness.
Education and Experience:
Must have 12, or more, years of general (full-time) work experience
