The Mobile Applications Developer/Integrator supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research
and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. This specialized role focuses on developing, maintaining,
and integrating mobile applications and barcode scanning capabilities with enterprise systems. Responsibilities
include providing comprehensive support for mobile hardware solutions, ensuring seamless connectivity between
barcode scanning technologies and the IT Service Management infrastructure, and supporting the overall reliability and
performance of these systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Developing and maintaining barcode scanning capabilities and integrations with BMC Remedy/Helix systems.
Providing hardware support for Zebra Technologies and Motorola Solutions handheld barcode scanners.
Maintaining and supporting Seagull Scientific Bartender applications and label templates.
Maintaining and troubleshooting issues related to mobile hardware and Mobile Reach applications.
Supporting mobile applications and their interfaces with BMC Remedy asset, ITSM, and property management systems.
Maintaining and supporting BMC Remedy/Helix systems with a focus on mobile integrations.
Planning, testing, implementing, and supporting system upgrades across all mobile and barcode platforms.
Troubleshooting and resolving application failures to minimize operational disruption.
Providing on-site support through occasional travel to geographically separated locations.
Delivering training and hardware support to customers utilizing Zebra Technologies and Motorola Solutions handheld barcode scanners.
Interfacing with cross-functional team members to ensure cross-platform module compatibility and standardization.
Collaborating on integration projects to maintain system cohesion.
Participating in technical planning and architecture decisions.
Provide visible and active leadership in delivering excellent Quality, Operational and Reliability results
