HX5 is currently seeking a Systems Integration Engineer to join our team to support the
Mobility Aircraft Program Office at Robins Air Force Base in Warner Robins, Georgia
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform systems engineering to include expertise in systems design and integration; manufacturing, quality and industrial engineering; airworthiness; and configuration and data management.
Execute AFPD 62-6, USAF Airworthiness, through standardized processes, and issuance of flight authorizations.
Assist in reviewing, developing, and updating applicable program documentation for systems engineering relevant requirements/issues.
Assist in reviewing and analyzing proposals, including regulatory and other policy driver changes or proposed modifications, for design feasibility and system compatibility.
Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree in engineering from an ABET-Accredited program and four (4) years of relevant experience.
Must have knowledge of systems engineering in support of system definition, development, integration, verification methods, sustainment, risk modeling/simulation, testing and evaluation, human system integration (HSI), crew stations engineering, OSSandE efforts, interoperability requirements, and airworthiness certification across a wide range of hardware and software systems, including ground-based systems.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week and offers a flexible work schedule Monday through Friday during core business hours.
Other Position Requirements:
Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.
Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance by date of hire.
Must be able to travel, including air travel.
