The portfolio will mostly be in the Americas. Interest in exploring AI systems and a willingness to develop awareness of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use. Assume primary analytical responsibility for a portfolio of sovereign and some supranational entities Monitor economic, financial, fiscal, environmental, social, and governance related trends and developments, and build in-depth knowledge of each of the credits under responsibility Review rating documentation, perform and present in-depth fundamental credit analysis effectively and comprehensively on each issuer at rating committees and periodic reviews in accordance with Moody's methodologies. Develop and formulate solid and forward-looking analytical conclusions. Write in-depth, high quality, insightful and focused research on specific issuers, and on key credit trends affecting sovereigns in the Americas. Collaborate with other analysts on regional and global research. Build and maintain high quality relationships with senior management at federal governments and government related issuers. Actively participate in regular outreach events such as investor briefings, teleconferences, conferences and third party presentations. Participate in the analysis and discussion of a broader portfolio of government credits globally. Lead, collaborate and mentor junior associates in meticulously planning, organizing, and executing detailed analytical work, targeted outreach initiatives, and in-depth research projects.
