Build relationships with suppliers and negotiate for best pricing and terms.Performs job duties consistent within safety, legal, and regulatory requirements; company standards, culture and business practices. Acts with the highest level of business and personal ethical standards in all aspects of job performance. A successful Strategic Sourcing Analyst should be proficient in analyzing data, negotiating contracts, and fostering strong relationships with key suppliers.Responsibilities- Collaborate with management to develop purchasing strategies, maintaining positive relationships with suppliers, coordinating with internal teams regarding their supply needs, overseeing the procurement process, and managing RF(X) processes.- Analyze Spending Patterns: Evaluate the company's spending to identify cost-saving opportunities.- Implement Sourcing Plans: Implement strategic sourcing plans to enhance supply chain operations.- Evaluate Suppliers: Assess suppliers and vendors based on quality, cost, service, and delivery speeds.- Negotiate Contracts: Negotiate contracts with suppliers to achieve optimal terms and pricing.- Monitor Performance: Track and report on the performance and efficiency of supply chains.- Maintain Supplier Information: Keep supplier information up-to-date in procurement databases.- Collaborate with Teams: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of sourcing strategies.- Stay Updated: Keep abreast of market trends and advancements in sourcing practices.- Risk Management: Assist in risk management for supply contracts and agreements.- Resolve Disputes: Facilitate communication and resolve disputes between the company and its suppliers.- Analyze and compare quotations to make informed sourcing decisions.- Must be able to maintain accurate files and records and assists with other projects as needed.- Collaborate with team on Source to Pay and Procurement transformation initiatives.Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.- 5+ years of experience is procurement, sourcing or supply chain.- Preferred certifications such as CPSM or similar.- Self-starter with strong verbal and communication skills.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills- Proficient with Excel and Microsoft Office.- Knowledge of PeopleSoft Purchasing/AP/Inventory- Knowledge of Business Intelligence platforms- Excellent project management experience skills- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously- Skilled at vendor negotiations- Ability to work with a team Required Education & Experience: - Associate Degree or equivalent experience with three years of relevant experience in the field of purchasing and inventory control in a service or industrial environment.Benefits OfferedWe are proud to offer a comprehensive and competitive benefits package:- 401(k) matching- Medical, Rx, Dental and Vision insurance- Disability insurance- Flexible spending account- Health savings account- Life insurance- Tuition reimbursement- Paid vacation and pe
