La Junta Lodging LLC DBA Econo Lodge has multiple openings for the position of
Management Analyst, which requires a U.S. Master's or foreign equivalent in
Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
Duties: Gather data from various sources and review internal documents such as
financial reports, business plans, and performance metrics. Analyze business
operations, workflows, and management structures to identify inefficiencies, gaps,
and areas of improvement. Also, conduct organizational assessments by comparing
the organization's processes and performance against industry standards or best
practices. Prepare detailed reports summarizing findings and document
recommendations and action plans for management. Interview personnel and
conduct on-site observation to ascertain unit functions, work performed, and
methods, equipment, and personnel used. Examine forms and reports, and
collaborate with management and users to discuss their format, distribution, and
purpose, while identifying issues and areas for improvement. Identify new changes,
assess training requirements, consult with stakeholders and define objectives.
Facilitate discussions and gather feedback on proposed solutions. Keep open lines
of communication with clients or internal stakeholders, providing regular updates on
progress and outcomes. Work closely with senior executives or business owners to
explain how the proposed solutions will improve the business. Deliver presentations
to stakeholders to communicate insights and recommendations clearly and
effectively. Take a hands-on-role in managing or overseeing the implementation of
the recommended change in record keeping. Assist with the reengineering of
business processes to optimize workflow and ensure that new systems and
procedures are effectively integrated into daily operations. Monitor project progress
and adjust plans as needed. Analyze business challenges like inefficiency, poor
performance, resource allocation issues, or low productivity. Use tools like SWOT
(Strengths, Weakness, Opportunities, Threats) to identify underlying causes of
organizational issues. Conduct market research to compare industry practices, stay
updated on trends and best practices in management and operations and assess the
practicality and potential impact of proposed solutions before making
recommendations.
Full time - 40 hrs./week. M-F. Job Location: La Junta, Colorado. Must be authorized
