That is why we need you, an experienced Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) Advisor to provide high-quality support.As part of our team, you'll serve as a strategic technical analyst to the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H), helping conceptualize, create, and execute advanced government-funded research and development (R&D) programs to accelerate better health outcomes for everyone. You'll work with world-class scientists and engineers to support the development of high-impact solutions to society's most challenging health problems. You'll leverage technical expertise to provide strategic assessments of new technologies in support to senior ARPA-H decision makers. You'll also maintain responsibility for producing and presenting findings and recommendations to a team of colleagues and clients on the feasibility and potential impact of future research programs, assisting with the management of current programs, and facilitating commercialization of successfully developed technologies.You'll serve as an SBIR and STTR Advisor helping clients to develop stakeholder management strategies, establish new business processes, and complete research and analysis to determine viable solutions. You will be responsible for managing incoming requirements, facilitating successful programs across the agency, and be readily available to shift your focus to fulfill emerging client requests. Your attention to detail, flexibility, communication skills, understanding of the client's mission, and problem-solving will enable the mission's success. What You'll Work On: - Develop due diligence reports on proposed SBIR topics about related or duplicative funding in the public or private sector and potential commercial opportunity to support unique, efficient use of ARPA-H dollars.- Track and analyze technical communications and results from SBIR performers and provide recommendations to the PM and the federal SBIR lead about progress against expectations.- Track and report on commercial progress across the portfolio of performers as well as making recommendations on existing commercial services such as entrepreneurs-in-residence or market and intellectual property analyses, to be offered.- Support the development of new commercialization support capabilities to ensure follow-on funding and long-term success of the small businesses funded by ARPA-H.Join us. You Have: - 6+ years of experience working with federal R&D SBIR or STTR programs- 6+ years of experience in research for federal government project management or development within the health sector- Experience analyzing company and investor data such as Pitchbook or Crunchbase- Experience with data, reporting, and dashboarding- Ability to read and understand technical approaches to product development such as science, engineering, or product strategy- Ability to analyze scientific literature as part of due diligence, including finding redundancy and developing and running queries- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time- Bachelor's degree Nice If You Have: - Experience with ARPA organizations such as DARPA or ARPA-E- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities- Ability to manage multiple short and long-term projects effectively- Ability to pay strict attention to detail and diligent adherence to deadlines and deliverables- Possession of excelle
