POSITION SUMMARY
The Intelligence Analyst is responsible for supervising a team of intelligence analysts in the development and production of intelligence-driven support products that assess risks, analyzes data / information to mitigate vulnerabilities to the client's assets, operations, strategy, and brand reputation. The SIA must possess strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to quality check and write analytical reports and studies as required by the supervisory chain. Additionally, the SIA must have experience supervising others and collaborating in a team environment. The SIA should have a passion for leading and managing others, conducting analysis, problem-solving, and advising decision-makers. This is a multi-functional role that collaborates closely with numerous internal and external stakeholders/partners. The SIA must be able to maintain a positive attitude and articulate their thoughts in a clear, concise, and respectable manner during normal day-to-day business operations and times of increased frustration and stress. Additionally, a SIA must be able to develop others, set objectives, and manage a team towards their completion. They must be able to take direction without question and offer constructive feedback when applicable.
PAY TRANSPARANCY/ COMPENSATION
$130,000 Per Year
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage team of analysts providing intelligence support to client on relevant emerging threats and early warning indicators.
Ensure team maintains detailed situational awareness of external events, including crime, weather, health, sociopolitical, geopolitical, and other issues that may threaten or impact the client.
Enable team to provide timely and effective support to requests for intelligence and ad-hoc client requests.
Collaborate with team to develop analysis and deliver assessments to client.
Oversee the development and production of intelligence-driven products that assess threats and analyze information to mitigate threats to the client, assets, operations, strategy, and brand reputation.
Supervise tactical and strategic level intelligence support for travel risk management, regional security operations, event security, and executive protection.
Prepare and present intelligence briefings to client leadership and targeted audiences; coordinate with team on the development of briefing skills and presentation abilities.
Maintain team proficiency with social media platforms, search tools, productivity applications, communication technology, and open-source intelligence (OSINT) resources (LexisNexis, etc).
Plan and implement intelligence reporting processes while adapting to evolving situations and client demands; assign reporting responsibilities to team.
Ensure coordination and communication with various stakeholders regarding intelligence requirements.
Train, mentor, and supervise assigned intelligence analysts in support of the intelligence program.
Safeguard highly sensitive and confidential client information.
Complete multiple tasks simultaneously and function in a fast-paced, evolving environment with minimal supervision
QUALIFICATIONS:
College Degree or equivalent in any relevant field such as security studies, law enforcement, intelligence, political science, international affairs.
8+ years of relevant work experience in intelligence or in related (to include academic) fields.
2+ years of relevant work experience in a supervisory role leading and managing others.
Proven ability to work with highly confidential information.
Demonstrated ability to supervise others in a fast-paced and high stress environment.
Demonstrated ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously and function in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
Strong analytic, oral, and written presentation skills to include the ability to deliver communication
